Describe a live sports match you watched.
How to answer it
Describe the crowd as much as the game — the noise, who you went with, the moment everyone stood up. That is what 'live' means in the card, and it is what separates this answer from the television version the examiner will ask about in Part 3, so save the comparison for then.
What moves the band
- Sport lexis: the atmosphere was electric, it went to the wire, a nail-biter, the place erupted.
- Narrate in past simple with one past continuous for the build-up; do not slip into the present.
