Phones and computers are destroying face-to-face communication
The question
The increasing use of mobile phones and computers makes people lose the ability to communicate face-to-face. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
How to answer it
Note the verb: 'lose the ability', not 'spend less time'. The cheapest route to a strong Task Response is to attack that distinction — people may be practising differently rather than losing a capacity — and then concede the real cost in the second body paragraph: fewer unplanned conversations, less tolerance for silence, weaker reading of tone in person. Pick an agreement level in the introduction and keep it.
