How long should TOEFL Speaking answers be?
Sometimes my answer is clear but only lasts 35 seconds. I want to know when short means weak development and when it is still okay.

Finishing early is only safe when the response still has a full structure: claim, support, and a clear closing thought. Most low-duration answers lose score because one of those pieces is missing.
