How to answer it
Three short questions that narrow from habit to person to content, so let your answers narrow too. Name a real person by relationship — a grandmother, a neighbour, a colleague near retirement — and give one thing you actually discuss. A specific recurring subject beats 'we talk about many things'.
What moves the band
- Frequency plus example is the whole formula here: 'most weekends, usually my grandmother'.
- Useful lexis: she fills me in on, we catch up, they've got a completely different perspective on.
